This paper was presented the 5th December 2005 at the Association des Etudes grecques. Its purpose is to offer a synthesis of our knowledge concerning the cult of Aphrodite at Delos during the Hellenistic times. This cult has three main forms. A public cult including festivals, the Aphrodisia, is practised during all Delos Independence (314-167 BC). Another cult characterized by a strong familial dimension is created at the end of the 4th century by a Delian named Stesileos who founded a sanctuary ; during the time of Delos Independence, the founder's descendants maintain the cult.
