In its committee judgment in the case of Brzeziński v. Poland the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) unanimously held that there has been a violation of Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) with regard the applicant’s right to freedom of expression as a politician, in election time.
