Para a eficácia do processo de ensino-aprendizagem a avaliação é necessária e tem uma importante participação ao conceituar o desenvolvimento dos alunos. Para uma avaliação justa que contemple tanto os objetivos da aprendizagem quanto às potencialidades dos alunos, faz-se necessária a utilização de vários instrumentos. Este trabalho apresenta uma pesquisa realizada com professores de diversas localidades brasileiras sobre a temática avaliação e suas percepções sobre o uso de rubricas como instrumento deste processo.
