The fortuitous discovery, in the circumstances of road-works in the place called Cézérac, parish of Montayral, of two potter-ovens allows to study the ovens as well as the production of the workshop. Two kinds of bed-plates could be identified on the ovens wich have followed one another on the site. The typological catalogue of the production is only composed of flat-bottomed pots and « pégaux »2. The anthracological study allows, for the first time in this area, to give a precision about the fuel which was used: oak-logs and bundles of various firewood. The proposed dating is in chronological bracket between XIth and Xllth century, with a stronger probability for the Xllth century.La découverte fortuite à l'occasion de travaux d'urbanism...
