STATUS EPISTEMOLOGICZNY PROGNOZOWANIA W NAUKACH O ZARZĄDZANIU W UJĘCIU ONTOLOGII DETERMINISTYCZNEJ

The issues of the article includes the philosophy of management sciences. The purpose of this article is to determine the epistemological status of forecasting in the sciences of management on the basis of deterministic ontology. Given that the aims of the study are systematizing and cognitive, they have been used for logical analysis and conceptual synthesis. The effect of the article is to formulate definitions of concepts such as data, information, knowledge, forecast and forecasting. It has been proven that, unlike natural sciences, the epistemological status of forecasting in management sciences is negative. The reasons for this state are described and explained.Key words: forecast, forecasting, epistemology, knowledge, management sciencesJEL: B4, D2Problematyka niniejszego artykułu mieści się w filozofii nauk o zarządzaniu. Celem artykułu jest określenie statusu epistemologicznego prognozowania w naukach o zarządzaniu na gruncie ontologii deterministycznej. Zważywszy, że cel opracowania ma charakter systematyzująco- poznawczy, posłużono się metodą logicznej analizy oraz konstrukcji pojęciowej. Efektem artykułu jest sformułowanie definicji pojęć, takich jak: dane, informacje, wiedza, prognoza oraz prognozowanie. Skonstatowano, że w odróżnieniu od nauk przyrodoznawczych status epistemologiczny prognozowania w naukach o zarządzaniu ma charakter negatywny. Opisano oraz wyjaśniono przyczyny takiego stanu rzeczy.Słowa kluczowe: prognoza, prognozowanie, epistemologia, wiedz
