This research was conducted with the aim of finding the development concept of product responsibility and quality standardization of processed food products. This research uses a normative juridical approach which is described descriptively analytically from legal materials and supporting data obtained, which is then analyzed qualitatively juridically. The results obtained from this research are that processed food producers have the responsibility to produce well by meeting the specified quality standards, and if their products harm consumers, they must provide compensation.
