This paper reports the experience of a supervised internship carried out in the 2nd year classes of high school at the Carauari State Full-Time School. The objective in this internship was to use the advantages of the discipline of mathematical modeling, which allows different types of methodologies, to promote the co-participation of students and that could help them, as well as the teacher in the creation of projects of mathematical solutions of the real world, through the programming software Scratch. Emphasizing the main points in the coexistence of teacher and trainee with students, for example, their search for knowledge, even after the end of the internship.
