Resiliensi (Ketangguhan) Masyarakat Dalam Mengurangi Risiko Bencana Longsor di Kecamatan Somagede Kabupaten Banyumas

Landslides are natural disasters that result in loss of human life and cause widespread damage to property and infrastructure. Landslides, in general, include any downward or sudden movement of surface material such as clay, sand, gravel and rocks. Landslides are one of the main destructive disasters in mountainous areas, which are activated due to the influence of earthquakes and rainfall. Somagede District is one of the sub-districts in Banyumas Regency which has low, medium to high potential for landslides. The aims of this research are: 1) What is the Potential for Landslide Disaster in Somagede District. 2) How is Landslide Disaster Resilience in Somagede. To determine the sample using the slovin method (Sugiono, 2000). namely the researcher has determined the place or the respondent to aim at, in this study are community leaders around the landslide prone/affected location in Somagede District, Banyumas Regency. Somagede District has the potential for landslides at low, medium to high levels. Klinting Village has a high potential for landslides, while villages with moderate landslide potential are Kanding Village and those with low landslide potential are Kemawi, Piasa Kulon, Somagede and Tanggeran Villages. The results of the SWOT Analysis of Community Resilience (Resilience) in Somagede Sub-District are holding first aid simulations or training in accidents (first aid) to deal with disaster risk, forming volunteers and disaster risk reduction forums in the village.Establish or build disaster resilient villages and prepare facilities to reduce disaster risks such as EWS etc. Government agencies, especially village officials, need to supervise and socialize land use in landslide hazard areas. This is done to reduce the expansion of the landslide hazard area and reduce the level of vulnerability Key Words: Landslide, Resilience, Potential
