Factors Affecting The Supply Of Women Labor In Sumampir North Purwokerto

The workforce is not only men, but women are also workers. Gender is not an obstacle for economic actors to work. In Indonesia, the presence of female workers is higher than that of male workers. The Sumampir Village also has the same thing where the number of female workers is greater than the male workforce. This shows that women can also contribute in the labor market. This study aims to analyze the effect of education, income, and family income on the supply of female labor. This study uses primary data. The population used in this study was 3,547. With samples taken 98 respondents. This data will be analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The results of the study show that (1) education has a positive and significant effect on the supply of female workers in the Sumampir Village. (2) wages have no significant effect on the supply of female workers in the Sumampir Village. (3) Family income has a positive and significant effect on the supply of female labor in the Sumampir Village. Overall, education, wages and family income have a joint effect on the supply of female workers in the Sumampir Village. Keywords: Female Workforce, Education, Wages, Family Incom
