Factores que inducen nomofobia a los estudiantes universitarios en la provincia de Chiriquí.

In the present work an attitudinal analysis of university students in the province of Chiriquí, Republic of Panama is shown in search of the factors or individual situations that condition them to develop and suffer nomophobia, this addiction being one of the most recent due to the exponential technological development in the last years. To carry out this research, the adaptation to Spanish of the Nomophobia Questionnaire or NMP-Q was used digitally through the Microsoft Forms platform and distributed to university students in Chiriquí through various channels. The results obtained were synthesized in four main factors: 1) not being able to access information, 2) giving up comfort, 3) not being able to communicate and 4) loss of connection; to determine which of these directly influences the development of nomophobia in the university students.En el presente trabajo se muestra un análisis actitudinal de los estudiantes universitarios de la Provincia de Chiriquí, República de Panamá, en busca de los factores o situaciones individuales que los condicionan a desarrollar y padecer nomofobia, siendo esta adicción una de las más recientes debido al exponencial desarrollo tecnológico en los últimos años. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación se empleó la adaptación al español del “Nomophobia Questionnaire” ó NMP-Q de manera digital mediante la plataforma Microsoft Forms y distribuida a estudiantes universitarios en Chiriquí a través de diversos canales. Los resultados obtenidos fueron sintetizados en cuatro factores principales: 1) no poder acceder a la información, 2) renunciar a la comodidad, 3) no poder comunicarse y 4) pérdida de conexión; para determinar cuál de estos influye directamente en el desarrollo de nomofobia en los estudiantes universitarios
