Analisis Praktik Monopoli dan Persaingan Usaha di Pasar Tradisional (Studi Kasus di Pasar Kwandang)

This study discusses the differences in selling prices from collectors that lead to monopolistic practices and unfair business competition in Kwandang Market, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research refers to Law No. 5 of 1999 concerning the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition. This study discusses several problems including: What is the cause that causes differences in market prices from collectors and what is the attitude of the North Gorontalo Regional Government in dealing with monopolistic practices that are prohibited by this country. This research method uses normative juridical analysis using secondary data with primary materials in the form of laws and expert opinions. In this study it can be concluded, the difference in selling prices from collectors so that the occurrence of monopolistic practices and unfair business competition in Kwandang Market is due to differences in selling prices from farmers and price monopoly practices by collectors themselves
