IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MELALUI BUDAYA SEKOLAH DI SD NEGERI TANJUNGANYAR 2

In forming and building good children's character at elementary school age, it is necessary to implement character education through school culture. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of character education through school culture at SD Negeri Tanjunganyar 2. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research subjects in this study were school principals, teachers, students, and school staff. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, the values ​​that are the main focus in character education through school culture at SD Negeri Tanjunganyar 2 are religious, nationalist, integrity, independence, and mutual cooperation. The five character values ​​are implemented through routine activities, habituation, exemplary by the teacher and environmental conditioning. Routine activities at Tanjunganyar 2 Public Elementary School such as morning assembly reading Asmaul Husna and singing national songs
