Water Spring water is a special resource given that it is both rare and essential but also renewable. However, water is rarely artificially transported and is mainly used locally. There are therefore as many problems linked to balanced management as there are with hydrographic units (basins), dependent on the changes and movements in climatic variables. Despite the fact that it is rare, no intrinsic commercial value is attached to it. There is no market for water as an asset in the same way as there is a market for raw materials. There is however a market for services that are connected to its supply.
