Introduction. Diabetic foot is defined as infection, ulceration or destruction of the deep tissues of the foot that may be associated with different factors. Objective. To carry out a bibliographic analysis and treatment of the disease to determine the risk factors of diabetic foot in elderly women through a clinical case of the FUNPRA geriatric center in the city of Cañar - Ecuador.
