Violencia contra la mujer en el barrio Ciudad Alegría de la ciudad de Loja

Violence against women has become a social and health problem, therefore, different actions are carried out to try to stop this phenomenon, however, it has not been possible instead Ecuador reports alarming figures of violence, for this reason , this research is carried out whose objective is to prevent violence against women in the City Alegria neighborhood of the city of Loja, through the proposal of a Social Work Program that makes families in this sector aware of the importance of recognizing their rights in order to generate a coexistence free of violence. The quantitative study is based on the application of surveys to 344 women from the Ciudad Alegria neighborhood of the city of Loja, the same ones that statistically analyzed show that psychological violence prevails in 55.52%, although there is no record of sexual violence in the sample obtained, but this result does not agree with the type of assessment they give to their family environment, therefore, the treatment that women receive within their home is considered as a routine or part of their daily lives. According to the results, women are aware of being victims of violence (99.42%), but they put up with it and allow the abuse of power by men and inequality between men and women to continue to grow and spread, actions promoted from the core family, due to negative reactions from relatives and embarrassment to society. Additionally, the main characteristics of violence against women are the reiteration of epithets that undermine dignity, contempt, and devaluation by generating notable consequences such as stress, anxiety, and mistrust of other people.La violencia contra la mujer se transformó en un problema social y de salud, por lo tanto, diferentes acciones se realizan para tratar de detener este fenómeno, sin embargo, no ha sido posible en su lugar Ecuador reporta cifras alarmantes de violencia, por tal razón, se realiza esta investigación cuyo objetivo es prevenir la violencia contra las mujeres en el barrio Ciudad Alegría de la ciudad de Loja, mediante la propuesta de un Programa de Trabajo Social que concientice a las familias de este sector sobre la importancia del reconocimiento de sus derechos con la finalidad de generar una convivencia libre de violencia. El estudio de corte cuantitativo se basa en la aplicación de encuestas a 344 mujeres del barrio Ciudad Alegría de la ciudad de Loja, las mismas que analizadas estadísticamente demuestran que prevalece la violencia psicológica en un 55.52%, aunque no se registra que exista violencia sexual en la muestra obtenida, pero este resultado no concuerda con el tipo de valoración que dan a su ambiente familiar, por lo cual,  el trato que recibe la mujer dentro de su hogar es considerado como una rutina o parte de su diario vivir. Según los resultados las mujeres son conscientes de ser víctimas de violencia (99,42%), pero lo soportan y permiten que el abuso de poder por parte del hombre y desigualdad entre hombres y mujeres siga creciendo y se difunda, acciones fomentadas desde el núcleo familiar, por reacciones negativas de familiares y vergüenza a la sociedad.  Adicionalmente, las principales características de violencia contra la mujer son la reiteración de epítetos que menoscaban la dignidad, menosprecio y desvalorización al generar consecuencias notables como el estrés, la ansiedad y la desconfianza hacia las demás personas
