Realidad educativa venezolana posterior a los cambios curriculares de modelo bolivariano

Among the most important problems affecting the Venezuelan educational system are: low school performance, exclusion and dropout rate, in view of this panorama, curricular changes were promoted at all educational levels, in order to make education become a tool for the transformation of Venezuelan society, therefore the objective of this research was to describe the current reality of the national educational system after 20 years of the implementation of the curricular changes proposed by the Bolivarian educational model. For this purpose, the legal documents and theoretical frameworks governing the purposes of this system were analyzed, as well as the national statistics during the period 1999-2019 in relation to the variables school inclusion, dropout rate and investment in the educational system, comparing the official data is with those provided by non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The results reveal that despite the changes made and some positive indicators indicated in government statistics, there are still reports of social problems affecting the education system, which are manifested in an increase in the dropout rate, lack of teachers and deterioration of school buildings, therefore, together with the paradigm changes, this must be accompanied by adequate social investment to help improve the performance of the Venezuelan education system.Entre los problemas más importantes que afectan el sistema educativo venezolano, se encuentran: el bajo rendimiento escolar, la exclusión y la tasa de abandono, ante este panorama se promovieron cambios curriculares en todos los niveles educativos, con el fin de lograr que la educación se convierta en una herramienta de trasformación de la sociedad venezolana, por lo tanto el objetivo de esta investigación fue describir cual es la realidad actual del sistema educativo nacional luego de 20 años de la implementación de los cambios curriculares propuestos por el modelo educativo bolivariano. Para ello se analizaron los documentos jurídicos y los marcos teóricos que rigen los propósitos de este sistema, así como las estadísticas nacionales durante el periodo 1999-2019 en relación a las variables inclusión escolar, tasa de abandono e inversión en el sistema educativo, comparando los datos oficiales es con los suministrados por organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONG). Los resultados revelan que a pesar de los cambios realizados y algunos indicadores positivos señalados en la estadísticas gubernamentales, aun se observan reportes de problemas sociales que afectan el sistema educativo, los cuales se manifiestan en un aumento de la tasa de abandono, falta de docentes y deterioro de planteles escolares, por lo tanto unido a los cambios de paradigma, se debe acompañar esta con una adecuada inversión social que ayude a mejorar el desempeño del sistema educativo venezolano
