eHealth app users are naturally diverse in terms of their human aspects, e.g., their emotional reactions to the app, varying language proficiency, socioeconomic status, educational level, cognitive style, personality, and many more. Unfortunately, many eHealth apps do not take these user differences sufficiently into account, making them ineffective or even unusable. Recognizing this gap, Md Shamsujjoha proposed a more integrated approach that better addresses human aspects of eHealth apps in his Ph.D. He identified the range and nature of key human aspects and proposed improved actionable guidelines, development workflow, and best practice examples to better support diverse users in practice
