The cultural creativity of Slovene emigrants in South America in the last decade was undoubtedly marked by the independent Slovenia and by the transition from the one-party and ideologically determined system to the system of parliamentary democracy. In Argentina, where the majority of people of Slovene origin live, a new model of cultural activity arose.
