This article presents a study developed in the Pedagogical Science College at the University of Ciego de Avila "Maximo Gómez Baez," in Cuba, on the deficiencies in the pedagogical professional skill to direct the practical-experimental activity that students of the bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education have. The objective was to diagnose the current state of this professional pedagogical skill development in students of this major.
