This study seeks to understand how the planning and characterization of Professional Learning Tasks (PLT) for the subject of Algebra, in a Mathematics' Teacher Education course, in order to promote the approximation between the algebraic structure of Group and school mathematics. This is a qualitative-interpretive study that uses two cycles of Design-Based Research. The study was carried out during planning and reflection and involved a teacher educator and a researcher. Video recordings of the meetings and the documents prepared were used, both analyzed through Content Analysis.
