This study aims to determine the Banjarsari Village Consultative BodyAccountability in carrying out its duties and functions as a representative of thevillage community, does its arrogance refuse to provide APBDes documentsjustified by the Act, This research is also to determine the extent of the role of villageheads in carrying out their functions as public servants, are able to be transparentand open in village financial management. With the refusal of the BPD towards therequest of the researchers asking for the APBDes and Perdes documents in 2019that they wished to become the object of research, the researchers wereincreasingly curious about the closed attitude of the village head and the BanjarsariBPD. What really happened behind the closed attitude of the two retainers of thevillage? Has there been an abuse of authority? Or indeed they have corrupted thevillage funds? More serious research is needed to prove the truth.The researcherfocused more on legal recognition of letters issued by the BPD which contained therefusal to provide APBDes documentsKeywords : Accountability, BPD, Village Government, APBDesPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Akuntabiitas Badan PermusyawaratanDesa Banjarsari di dalam menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya sebagai perwakilanmasyarakat desa,apakah sikap arogansinya menolak memberikan dokumenAPBDes di benarkan oleh Undang-Undang, Penelitian ini juga untuk mengetahuisejauh mana peran kepala desa di dalam menjalankan fungsinya sebagai pelayanmasyarakat, apakah mampu bersikap transparan dan terbuka di dalam pengelolaankeuangan desa.Dengan penolakan yang dilakukan BPD Terhadap permintaanpeneliti meminta dokumen APBDes dan Perdes tahun 2019 yang hendak di jadikanobjek penelitian, maka peneliti semakin penasaran dengan sikap tertutup kepaladesa dan BPD Banjarsari. Apa yang sebenarnya terjadi dibalik sikap tertutupnyadua punggawa desa tersebut? Apakah memang sudah terjadi penyalahgunaanwewenang? Atau memang dana desa tersebut memang sudah mereka korupsi?Diperlukan penelitian yang lebih serius untuk membuktikan kebenaranya.
