PENEGAKAN HUKUM TINDAK PIDANA PEMILIHAN UMUM YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH PANITIA PEMILIHAN KECAMATAN DI KABUPATEN GOWA

General elections are seen as the most tangible form of sovereignty in the hands of the people and the most tangible form of people's participation in the administration of the State. Therefore, the system and the implementation of elections must be a major concern because through structuring a quality system in the implementation of elections is expected to realise the government of the people, by the people and for the people. The organisation of elections in 2019 refers to Law number 7 of 2017 concerning elections. The election law states that the principles of elections are direct, general, free, secret, honest and fair. However, in reality, there are still violations committed not only by election participants, political parties and the community, but also election organisers who are involved in election fraud. The existence of law enforcement agencies mentioned in the Election Law and poured in Bawaslu Regulation number 31 of 2018 concerning integrated law enforcement centres which are joint institutions of the Election Supervisory Agency, the Police and the prosecutor's office that coordinate in enforcing election crimes. This research was conducted at the Election Supervisory Agency of Gowa Regency and the General Election Commission of Gowa Regency, which supervise and take action against election violations and enforce the election organiser's code of ethics. This research is Empirical Research. The data used are primary, secondary and tertiary data. All data and materials obtained from the research were compiled and analysed qualitatively and presented descriptively
