This study analyzed the Hegemony in “The Hunger Games” Novel. This novel have three chapter, there are The Hunger Games (2008), Catching Fire (2009), and Mockingjay (2010). In that novel, there was an indication of the power of the leadership which portrayed in the image of a fear games, called “Hunger Games”. Based on the background above, the researcher found two problem to be analyzed. The aim was to analyze the way capitol establish their hegemony and the effect of the hegemony in that novel. To analyze that problem, the researcher used the theory of Hegemony from “Antonio Gramsci” as the main theory.
