Four ancient cannons are discussed here: Ki Amuk from Banten and three pieces seized by the Dutch in the Sultan of Aceh's palace after their victory in 1874. Two of the Acehnese cannons bear inscriptions testifying that they were supplied not by Istanbul as is commonly thought, but by the Gujarati strongman Chingîs Khân, probably in 1567.Guillot Claude, Kalus Ludvik.
