The current article attempts to investigate on motivation of language learning employed by the students in learning English as foreign language, but live in state that use English as second language namely Malaysia. The current research focused on the types of motivation by Gardner & Lambert namely instrumental and integrative, the dominant types both of instrumental and integrative, the different concerning natural science and social science, also what items of students’ motivation most related in their language learning.
