The character of psychopath in orphan: first kill film

The study analyzes Leena Klammer's character that shows Psychopath and the description of Leena Klammer's character seen from Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis theory. Leena Klammer's is the main character in the film Orphan: First Kill. She has a physical disorder that makes her look like a 9 year old child. There are two objectives of study. The first is to examine and explain the characteristics of Leena Klammer's that shows the psychopath problem and the second is to fine-tune the description of Leena Klammer's character seen from Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis theory. The writer collects the data by dialogues or monologues related to the analysis, and classified it using a psychoanalysis theory and qualitative method for understanding the data analysis. The results from this study indicate that Leena has some characteristics, which are manipulative, lack of empathy, impulsive and difficult to control herself, wild, and lack of remorse and guilty feeling. From the characteristics that have been found, it can be concluded that Leena Klammer has a personality disorder that leads to a psychopath. From the point of view of psychoanalytic theory, Leena became a psychopath because she wants to cover up her identity. She failed in the phallic periode when it was critical for individuals to establish their super ego. Leena's super ego is too weak in this scenario because she cannot employ it when she commits a mistake.
