Demographical ageing is more important in the Northern hemisphere, but it has increased in the developing countries over the last few decades. The necessary conditions for its appearance (decrease in fertility, recession of mean age at death) tend to be fulfilled more and more in all countries. The first quarter of the XXIst century should coincide with an important «greying» of the world.
