L'étude ethnocontrastive des actes de parole

How does this field of research differ from related ones such as contrastive analysis, the theory of speech acts and the ethnography of communication ? What are its aims and methods ? Those are the questions we try to answer here. After the reminder of the work done by Coulmas, Manes and Wolf son, and Herbert, we show it applied to the cries of mongers in French and Californian marketplaces, applying a methodology permitting the study of how verbal structures are inserted in the socio-cultural fiber.Qu'entend-on par étude ethnocontrastive des actes de parole ? Quels en sont les objectifs et les méthodes ? Ce sont là les questions auxquelles nous tentons d'apporter quelques réponses. Après un rappel des travaux de Coulmas, Manes et Wolfson, et Herbert, nous présentons une application à la comparaison des appels de vendeurs sur les marchés en France et en Californie, qui met en oeuvre une méthodologie permettant d'étudier l'insertion des structures verbales dans le tissu socioculturel.Lindenfeld Jacqueline.
