In the lower part of the Rhone valley, the identification of a Roman cadastral structure leads us to reconsider the chronology of several known networks, and in particular in the city of Nîmes. An early datation (end of the 2nd century B.C. to the beginning of the 1st century B.C.) suggested by this system nourrishes the debate linked to the beginnings and various stages of the Roman settling in Roman Gaul.Dans la basse vallée du Rhône l'identification d'une importante structure cadastrale romaine amène à reconsidérer la chronologie de plusieurs réseaux connus, et en particulier dans la cité de Nîmes. Une datation haute (fin du IIe s. av. J.-C. début du Ier s. av.
