After publications on dishware (RAN, 1983) and glassware (RAN, 1984), this article undutakes the study of amphoras from the upper levels of La Bourse excavation in Marseille. Three stratigraphie sets, dated respectively to the second quarter of the 5th century, the end of the 6th century and the 7th century, are described from a typological point of view. The proportion of the different products (Spanish, African, Oriental and Undetermined) varies : the Oriental amphoras are particularly numerous during the 5th century, the African amphoras are prédominant at the end of the 6th century and these latter are the only ones to subsist in the 7th century.
