Un enclos funéraire gallo-romain à Bagnols-en-Forêt (Var)

Construction work carried out in the locality known as La Bégude in the district of Bagnols-en-Forêt has revealed the existence of a burial ground containing 5 cremations and inhumations. The enclosure, whih can be dated back to the second half of the first century A.D., is not associated with any particular site, but several villae have been identified in the vicinity.Des travaux de terrassement effectués au lieu-dit La Bégude, sur la commune de Bagnols-en-Forêt, ont permis la découverte d'un enclos funéraire contenant 5 tombes à incinération et à inhumation. Cet ensemble, datable de la deuxième moitié du Ier siècle après J.-C, n'est rattaché à aucun habitat précis, mais plusieurs villae ont été identifiées à proximité.Béraud Isabelle, Brun Jean-Pierre, Gébara Chérine.
