We study the representation of self-similar anisotropic Gaussian fields by monogenic wavelets. The monogenic signal uses the Riesz transform and allows to extract local orientation and structure information from an image. The multiscale analysis presented here provides unbiased and consistent estimators of the anisotropy and autosimilarity parameters of specific Gaussian textures.
