The present invention relates to the polymeric reaction product of compounds according to Formula (I) and For­ M mula (II) or (III). Formula (I) has the following structure: where R1, R2, R3 and Ri are independently H, OH, optionally substituted C1.12alkyl, optionally substituted C1.12alkenyl, C1.12aldehyde, C3.12acetals, C2.12 ether, and/or C2.12 ester; where optionally at least on of R1,R2, R3 and Riis H. Formulae (II) and (III) have the fol!owing structure_: where_X is Hor C1.4 alkyl; Yis OH or OR5 where R5 1s C1.12alkyl, C3.12aryl, C4.12aralkyl or C3.12cycloalkyl; and Z 1s an electron-w1thdrawmg group.
