Presents the process interaction approach as an alternative world view for modelling industrial systems. The approach yields two major benefits: its concepts can be used to model all kinds of activity throughout the system, varying from machine control to factory control, and they can be used throughout the entire development process, i.e. the same concepts apply to the specification, the validation and the implementation of industrial system
