Holocene and present-day calcareous tufs formations of Central Spain are described and modélized in this paper, (fig. 1) Calcareous tufs, formations show a petrological aspect related with hidrologic, hidrogeo- logic and geomorphological factors, and specially with climatic-lithologic-morphologic relations. We bring out a physicochemical model about «water tufaceous potential», this index is conected with climatic, lithologie and hidrogeologic factors.
