The rainfall climatology study of the middle West of Morocco shows mainly two average evolution rates. One is specific to the north part of the coast which includes Casablanca and Safi, the other concerns the south part which contains Essaouira, a coastal station, and Marrakech and Chichaoua which are inside stations. In the first case, the general average evolution rate is caracterised by the fact that the wettest period occurs at the beginning of the rainy season (November and December). In the second case the wet period generally occurs at the end of rainy season. It rains more and very often in autumn and winter on the coast, and in winter and spring in the interior.
