The spatial organization of industry in Spain shows important changes associated to the economic globalisation, technological innovation and segmentation of the productive process. The analysis about the location of new industries since 1981 shows the decentralization of certain activities in development axis and peripheral regions, next to new ways of inequality and polarization favouring metropolitan areas.
