Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit einer kinetischen Untersuchung der elektrochemischen Chlorevolution an industriellen und neuartigen dimensionsstabilen Ru Ir Ti Oxidelektroden. Dazu wurde zunächst eine elektrochemische Zweikammertestzelle entwickelt, die den enormen Stabilitätsansprüchen der Chlorelektrochemie genügt. Der Einfluss der Temperatur, Chlorid-Konzentration, des pH-Wertes sowie des Chlorpartialdrucks des Elektrolyten auf die Chlorevolutionsrate wurde experimentell gemessen und die entsprechenden kinetischen Exponenten abgeschätzt. Tafel-Analysen ergaben darüber hinaus Werte für die exponentiellen Abhängigkeiten der Reaktionsraten vom angelegten elektrischen Überpotential.
