In der häuslichen Trinkwasserinstallation können abhängig vom eingesetzten Material, der Wassertemperatur und des Trinkwassers unterschiedliche Biofilmpopulationen entstehen. Unter ungünstigen Umweltbedingungen können sich auch hygienisch relevante Mikroorganismen einnisten und persistieren. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wurden verschiedene Einflussfaktoren auf die bakterielle und eukaryotische Zusammensetzung von Trinkwasserbiofilmpopulationen mit Hilfe von 16S und 18S rDNA Klonbibliotheken und genetischen Fingerprints (DGGE) untersucht.
