Die Mikrostruktur und das Ausscheidungsverhalten dreier Maraging-Stähle – Corrax sowie zwei Fe-Ni-Al-Cr-(Cu)-Modelllegierungen – wurden mittels dreidimensionaler Atomsonde, Transmissionselektronenmikroskop, Rückstreuelektronenbeugung und Röntgenbeugung analysiert. Die Stähle zeigen eine gute thermische Stabilität gegenüber der Bildung von rückumgewandeltem Austenit bei der Wärmebehandlung (525°C). Bis zu einer Alterungszeit von 300 h kann kein Einfluss des Austenit-Anteils auf die Härte festgestellt werden. Der Anteil des Austenits steigt mit zunehmender Ni-Konzentration der Legierungen an.
