We demonstrate combined mode-and wavelength multiplexed transmission of 23 Tbit/s over 17 km conventional graded-index multimode fiber. We selectively couple and receive all spatial modes in the lowest 3 mode-groups of the multimode fiber using photonic-lanterns based mode-couplers. The transmitted signals are recovered by 12×12 MIMO digital signal processing.</p
