Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit werden Untersuchungen an natürlich belüfteten, diskontinuierlich, kontinuierlich und partiell belüfteten Abwasserteichen durchgeführt, mit dem Ziel den Einfluss wechselnder Milieubedingungen auf die Abbauleistung von Teichanlagen zu beurteilen. Anhand der aufgenommen Messdaten wird ein dynamisches Simulationsmodell entwickelt. Das Simulationsmodell ist zur Beschreibung der unterschiedlichen Milieubedingungen über die Teichtiefe in drei Zonen, einer euphotischen, einer aphotischen Schicht und dem Detritus, aufgeteilt.
