This paper explores the usage of the MATLAB/Simulink multibody toolbox SimMechanics for vehicle dynamics analysis. The tyre model and some general issues when creating vehicle models in SimMechanics are discussed. Finally three examples are given: a motorcycle, racing car and truck model
