Télédétection des inondations : l'exemple du marais de Monts (Vendée. Ouest France)

ABSTRACT Two images of flooding in the tidal marsh of Monts are analysed. The first one is from SPOT 1 satellite and has been registered on 1988 february the 18. The second has been registered on 1976 december the 13 by Landsat MSS. Flood extent and Flood depth are analysed directly: that is shortly after the flood wave with images; and indirectly from the characteristics of flood plain, ground simulations of water levels and ground analysis.RÉSUMÉ Deux scènes d'inondation du marais breton-vendéen sont analysées : l'une enregistrée par Landsat le 13 décembre 1976; l'autre, par SPOT, le 18 février 1988. La cartographie de l'inondation en extension et en épaisseur est réalisée en combinant des études de terrains à divers traitements d'image.Robin M.
