The cave microclimate is one of the elements, of the karst ecosystem, that can be taken into account for monitoring the spatial and temporal evolution of the underground atmosphere and hydrosphere. In the last decades, the available technology has permitted to gather many atmospheric physical parameters useful to characterize the spatial and temporal evolutions of the underground microclimate and eventually to prevent and manage possible irreversible modifications. Several yearly time series of underground atmospheric parameters, collected from the main Italian show caves from Antro del Corchia in the Apuane Alps to Grotta di Monte Cucco and Grotta Grande del Vento- Frasassi in Central Italy are compared.
