Introduction: The Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Revised – Abbreviated (EPQR-A) consists of 24 items for assessment of the three fundamental personality traits (psychoticism, extraversion, and neuroticism) and a validity scale (lie scale). Our objectives were to assess the psychometric properties of a version of this instrument culturally adapted for Brazil. Method: 321 participants were recruited using a non-probabilistic method. Results: Internal consistencies ranged from minimally acceptable to respectable, except for the psychoticism domain.
