Stanisław Tittenbrun, who lived with his family in Bydgoszcz in 1921-1934, was a well-known and generally respected veteran of the January Uprising in the local community. The author of the article presented a relatively comprehensive history of this family which came from the Lublin region. Stanisław’s father, Antoni Tittenbrun participated in the November Uprising as a 17-year-old young man. Reminding in this context his son Stanisław, who was a notable resident of Bydgoszcz during the interwar period, will surely be interesting for the contemporary history enthusiasts of this city. In this way, two generations of the Tittenbrun family took an active part in two successive national movements
