Demokracja, uspołecznienie i demokratyzacja – konteksty pedagogiczne

The article is an attempt on systematisation of the notions of democracy and democratisation. The authors present different approaches to democracy and describe the most important models of democracy with special regard to the procedural, material and deliberative understanding of democracy. The text emphasizes the ambiguity and multidimensionality of thinking about democracy. Furthermore, the article presents and explains the democratization process of various spheres of social life. The authors stressed the theoretical justification of the democratization of school life.Artykuł stanowi próbę systematyzacji pojęć: demokracji i demokratyzacji. Autorzy przedstawiają różne podejścia do demokracji oraz opisują najważniejsze modele demokracji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem proceduralnego, substancjalnego oraz deliberatywnego rozumienia demokracji. W tekście podkreślono wieloznaczność i wielokierunkowość myślenia o demokracji. W dalszej części artykułu zaprezentowano i omówiono proces demokratyzacji różnych obszarów życia społecznego.
