Szkoła XXI wieku w wyobrażeniach studentów pedagogiki

The aim of the research was to get to know the perceptions of students of pedagogy about the school of the 21st century. The main research problem was contained in the question: What idea about the school in the 21st century do the students of pedagogy have? The diagnostic survey method was used in the research involving 52 students. The uncategorized interview was adopted as the research technique. The thematic areas included in the interview concerned selected components of the school environment, i.e. one of the intra-school groups, i.e. teachers, didactic measures used in the teaching process, organization of the teaching process and school location. The results of the research proved that the teacher of the 21st century school should be fair and empathetic. The respondents do not support too deep technological changes. There should be no homework in a 21st century school. Instead of traditional tests or quizzes, the students proposed group work, various quizzes, discussions, brainstorming sessions or an educational project as a means of verifying students’ knowledge. The respondents prefer classroom teaching because they attribute a huge role to direct contacts of students with teachers and classmates. The school should be located in a less urbanized area, preferably near a park or forest.Celem badań było poznanie wyobrażeń studentów pedagogiki o szkole XXI wieku. Główny problem badawczy zawierał się w pytaniu: Jakie wyobrażenie o szkole XXI wieku mają studenci pedagogiki? W badaniach, którymi objęto 52 studentów, wykorzystano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego. Za technikę badawczą przyjęto wywiad nieskategoryzowany. Obszary tematyczne uwzględnione w wywiadzie dotyczyły wybranych komponentów środowiska szkoły, tj. jednej z grup wewnątrzszkolnych, czyli nauczycieli, środków dydaktycznych stosowanych w procesie nauczania, organizacji procesu nauczania i lokalizacji szkoły. Wyniki badań dowiodły, że nauczyciel szkoły XXI wieku powinien być przede wszystkim sprawiedliwy i empatyczny. Badani nie są zwolennikami zbyt głębokich przemian technologicznych. W szkole XXI wieku nie powinno być prac domowych. Zamiast tradycyjnych klasówek czy kartkówek studenci zaproponowali pracę w grupie, różne quizy, dyskusję, burzę mózgów czy projekt edukacyjny jako sposoby weryfikacji wiedzy uczniów. Badani preferują stacjonarne nauczanie, ponieważ ogromną rolę przypisują bezpośrednim kontaktom uczniów z nauczycielami i klasowymi kolegami. Szkoła powinna być usytuowana na obszarze mało zurbanizowanym, najlepiej w pobliżu parku czy lasu
