During the lockdown period, to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, Italian teachers at all level were forced to carry out a rapid transition from face-to-face teaching to distance learning. In that context, we administered a short semi-structured questionnaire to 175 primary school teachers with the aim of investigating their main difficulties in conducting distance learning in the first months of school closure.
